Up for sale is my mother's Volvo S-80, and the only she is selling it, is that my father bought her a new 2012 Toyota Camry. This car looks very clean, almost showroom clean! There are no dents on the body at all and no rust and very minor abrasions here and there. With a good detail the exterior will be mint. The cars' interior is also like mint with no signs of wear, even on the drivers seat. The car is an extremely clean cosmetically, and looks like new. Mechanically the car has been very well maintained, throughout its life even before my mother had it, as we have a family mechanic in New Hamshire, who previously owened the vehicle and did a termendous amount of maintenace on the vehcile. All fluids were regularly changed and all brakes, suspension, and other maintenace issues were all attended to by this mechanic. The engine was overhauled in 2009 at 173,000 miles, and runs beautifully, and leaks no oil or burns any oil. Recently, my mother put in a new battery in and the transmission started slipping only 4k miles ago, and thinking she was keeping the car, put in a rebuilt unit for $3995.00 at a local trabnsmission shop, and I have all the paper work and warranty information on that service. So basically the driver train is completely redone and in perfect working order! All heating, ac, amazing sound system, safety systems, braking and suspension, lights and power adjustments and all other electronics and all glass, work as they should. I have detecetd a small exhaust leak in the middle of the exhaust system, which indicates it needs a new muffler, but other than that this car is an excellent driving vehicle with a great drive train that will give years of great service to its new owner and can be driven anywhere in the USA with confidence.
