THIS IS A COMPLETE RUNING AND DRIVING COMPLETE ENGINE OVERHAUL LESS (NEW PISTONS) 312 CUBIC INCH THUNDERBIRD. THE REASON IT DID NOT GET NEW PISTONS WAS THEY ARE OVERSIZED .60 AND HAD NO RIDGE AT THE TOP OF THE CYLINDER TO CUT OUT,I HAVE THE 4 BBL BELL CRANK THAT BOLTS TO THE INTAKE BUT HAVE NOT DONE SO YET,THIS IS A POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKE car and both are working good.IT ALSO HAS A POWER SEAT THAT I HAVE NOT TRIED TO HOOK UP YET.i also have the gas tank off and having it proffesionally cleaned,i do have a brand new copper gas line from Mac that will be put on at the time the gas tank is reinstalled.i have good shinny stainless,including all script and badges that belong on a thunderbird.i have new red and white seat upostery ,new door and kick panels that are thunderbird embosed.new red thunder bird carpet . the car has a black convertable top is worn,but i have a new white convertable top that goes with the car.it has the correct thunderbird floor shifter and a chrome overdrive pull handle and a overdrive 3 speed transmission. the end of the overdrive cable is not attached to the selonoid on the tranny.the metal in this car especially the area all the way around and under the engine is excellent,the floor boards and trunk floor are excellentThe antique green windshield and door glasses are excellent without any rock chips or craks .the car is in primer to protect it ,it should be taken down to bare metal and then brought back to the color you desire.its should be apparent that this car will have to be trailered untill the items i have mentioned are corrected,i am working on these items each time we have a warm sun shinny day,but as i correct and fix what needs fixing the price is going up.I will not lower my reserve because it is $5,000.00 less than what it will be when i get every thing fixed except i don't plan to paint the T-bird.Dealers i am also bidding a 1957 Ford Fairlane Sunliner ragtop . That has been painted but needs some items to complete it as well ,you could trailer 2 for the fuel price of one.i will consider a little mustang pony or something GM or Crylser that i can put ac on and go to small town car shows and 5k to 6.5 k boot to me.or a little extended cab economical pickup with good working ac and boot to me..I will require a $500.00 non refundable paypal or wired deposit .I am now an old man on oxgen and i can't produce work like i used too so since i got 2 cars i am working on i thought since i have a 100% good rating on past 1957 fords i have sold maybe someone would realize they could save some real money if they wanted to finsh up,especially a dealer buying 2 cars from me.Yes a few weeks back i had this car started,pulled forward and backed,let run for 10 min. checked and had no fluid leaks or smoke.the power brakes and power steering were working fine.for those that know the mini tbirds this car has the correct front motor mount and engine stablizer bars which is different from the regular 1957 ford cars.i have the cars listed locally and reserve the right to remove the car from the auction.the car or title will not leave my Garage untill the bank says funds are are available to me.i have seen a cashiers check take 3 weeks before the bank says funds available to me so wired money to my account would be my preferred payment, i will accept the other forms but untill bank says funds available to me you can't have the car or clear arkansas title.
