You are looking at a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse. This was a great running little car until November when the timing belt broke. For those of you that know Eclipses, you know that bent valves are the result. So, I'm putting the car up for sale to start just in case there is someone that would like to swap the head out or even swap the engine out and have a great little car. This thing was getting north of 30 mpg as a daily driver. It was quick and fun to drive and handled very well. It has 4 good tires on it and as you can see in the pics the interior is mint for a car this old. There is one rust spot on the righ quarter panel that could be fixed without too much work. There is no other rust on the car. The hood and deck lids are missing a bunch of the clear coat, but the paint is still intact. The car is the GS with the 2.0 DOHC motor. It is a 5 speed with ice cold air conditioning. It has power windows and locks, but the window button on the passenger door doesn't always work right. It has power mirrors, but they don't work. The fog lights also don't work. If you push the fog light button they come on, but they don't stay on, so it either has a bad switch or relay. In the past 2 years I have replaced the alternator and starter. The car is inspected including PA emissions. The CD player will NOT be included. I'm not really interested in other offers. If the car doesn't sell for at least the starting price, I'm going to begin parting it out. The car does not run so obviously it will need to be trailered, dollied, or picked up with a rollback. The car is located in Blanchard, PA 16826. I'm about 30 minutes from State College, and about the same from Williamsport, PA.
