I originally bought this car a a parts car for my 1960 Plymouth Fury which is also listed for sale on eBay. I bought the car 7-8 years ago and at the time the car had been stored indoors since 1968. I promptly put the car in storage as well. Ultimately I decided not to part the car out as it was in better condition. The body is solid. There is no major rust which is rare on these old Mopars. Most of the chrome trim is present and in decent condition. It would probably need to be re-chromed. The only missing trim is from the front of car around the headlights. The interior is complete but rough from sitting for so long. The seats and door panels are complete but the fabrics will need to be replaced. The car had been stored on blocks with no rims. The auction company I bought it from threw 4 mismatched rims on the car so we could move it. They are not original to the car and the tires are shot. The engine is most frozen and I would not assume it is repairable. It sat with the intake manifold loose since '68. Mechanically it appears complete except the radiator is missing. I live in Long Beach, CA but the car is being stored on my families farm in Aurelia, IA (northwest Iowa). My father will be available to show the car and assist with loading. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due within 24 hours of the auction end. The remainder of the payment is due within 10 days of the auction end. Payment is due before or at the time of pick-up.
