1974 Volkswagen Beetle, Classic. Was purchased for my 16 year old daughter in June of 2011 and realized afterwards that nobody has time to fiddle with it. The person we bought it from drove it to and from work everyday. My daughter has used it very little. I will try to give you and idea of the obvious, however, we are NOT mechanics. The body is in good conditon with minimal surface rust, engine is the original 1600 engine with the manual transmission, Interior is in fair to good condition (appears that the seats have been recovered, front & back), newer black floor covering in the front, I recall that one of the floor pans has been replaced, carborator needs adjusting (runs high). On Feb-11-12 at 13:22:15 PST, seller added the following information: The undercarriage has some surface rust. The running boards do appear to have a bit of rust....In summary, I would say that the undercarriage is in overall pretty good condition.
