The only options available for a 2.5i Wagon are the automatic transmission and an auto-dimming inside mirror with compass, both of which this car has. The list of standard items however, is long including power windows, power heated outside mirrors, 8-way power driver's seat and like all Subarus, a full-time 4-wheel drive system. Besides being near new-car spotless inside and out, this two-tone silver Outback is a handsome devil with alloy wheels, a roof rack, huge fog lights and 8.5 inches of ground clearance. Because this is a pre-owned vehicle, I can't call it a new car but honestly, that's what it looks and feels like and especially, what it drives like. With a racy roof profile and frameless door glass, the Outback is as stylish as it is butch. The beefy look is not just show; this is a real AWD wagon with a limited-slip rear axle, speed sensitive power rack and pinion steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes with ABS and a heavy duty, fully independent raised suspension system. A rock crawler it is not but when the snow falls or the mud gets deep, this Subaru doesn't mind getting dirty. You will confidently traverse conditions that have other wagons doing a reluctant u-turn, hoping to find a smoother (paved) route. Mud guards at each corner and plenty of ground clearance, this Outback has been well cared for and its single owner obviously, didn't drive it too often. The tires are good, the brake pads are thick and all maintenance is current. This ultra low mileage Outback wagon has power windows, (heated) mirrors, locks, cruise control, tilt steering, cd player and a whole lot more. What it also has is new car appearance, new car function and it still smells new inside. Everything works, nothing is broken, it's never been hit and it's never been in a body shop. The body is straight and spectacular, the paint is showroom shiny and the wheels are flawless. This one owner Outback is the closest thing to assembly line fresh there is. It is not new, but it sure looks, feels and drives like it is. This Legacy Outback is the real deal, all-wheel-drive, multi-purpose vehicle that does everything a normal wagon can do.
