1997 F250 Crew Cab Diesel 7.3 Powerstroke 66K Original Miles Incredible Condition Wow…here is the one you’ve been looking for!! I know so because I searched the internet for over 6 months to find the cleanest, lowest mileage, most well-kept ’97 Powerstroke I could find anywhere in the nation. It sounds cliché, but see for yourself. This is the last year of the great Ford Powerstroke F250! The original owner turned 83 years old last year and only seldom used it to take himself and his wife camping in the local area. The rear seat and bed of this truck have been barely used; the front cab reflects the same excellent condition. Some notables before the details: - Diesel 7.3 Powerstroke..I get over 19+ mpg on the freeway! - XLT Package - 60k service completed - Newer tires (last year) - Brand new Bilstein shocks (excellent ride) and Brand new Interstate batteries (2) - Clean/clear CA certificate of title - Stock : no modifications other than the radio (I have the original Ford radio too!) - Matching Snug Top shell (will add photos over weekend) - Oil/filter just changed two weeks ago (I only use Rotella) - No stains, smells, smoke, tears, rips…you get the idea! - Short bed (6 3/4') with a rubber bed liner. You could find other F250s for less, but none as clean along with this super low, original mileage and recent services (tires, shocks and 60k service cost almost $2,000 alone, not too mention the matching Snug Top camper shell). There is not another Powerstroke in this series/style as clean or with as low miles as this 1997 F250 Crew Cab. On Feb-12-12 at 16:35:22 PST, seller added the following information: I've been asked by a couple interested parties to comment on both the Auto Check rating and condition (imperfections) of the F250. Auto Check has reflected an incorrect mileage adjustment on 09/14/2005 (see Ebay's Auto Check report). While Auto Check admits that the stated mileage is incorrect, they have yet to remove it from their records; the removal can take between 1-3 months. Once removed and corrected, the rating would most likely exceed normal and be ranked in their highest cateorgy. In the interim, I have pulled a Car Fax on my Ford today (02/12/2012) that I will be would be happy to email any party requesting a copy of it. It does reflect the accurate history and mileage of this Ford. I've been asked to state some of the imperfections of the truck. The top three I would comment on are the following (understanding this is a 16 year old vehicle): on the rear passenger side of the truck, there is a rash on the pinstripe where the original owner must have caught something in the garage. It has been touched up, and I don't believe it is worthy of any more attention to detial (please see photo as a reference). Secondly, there is a 3" scratch mid-height on the rear passenger side of the truck above the noted pinstripe rash. I can only assume it occurred at the same time as the other mentioned scratch. This too has been touched up with paint and looks fine in my opinion (please see photo as a reference). Lastly, the exterior of the passenger mirror has a vertical dent/indentation; maybe from the same incident, but I did not confirm. The mirror could be easily replaced, but again, nothing major but thought I'd note it. Again the photo will reflect this depiction. I don't know why I put 66k on the auction title and headline (probably because I wrote the copy around 2am in the morning!), but wanted to share that it's almost 2,000 less miles than what I put. Also, my Ford is for sale locally and am I considering all reasonable and fair offers to end the auction early.
