1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS (Born a Malibu) Here’s your chance to get into the muscle car frenzy without breaking the bank. This car is awesome. The performance is remarkable with a 396 BIG BLOCK built by the go-to engine builders in North Alabama. No expense was spared on this engine and it produces 500hp. Its chromed out and very impressive to anyone who sees it. It’s a beast with the four speed in the floor. The body is solid, not a car you’re afraid to drive, but very nice. The paint is probably 15 years old and has some blemishes. The interior is original except for carpet and headliner. The chrome is nice with no pitting and only a few minor imperfections. I have owned several old cars but this is my first Chevelle so I’m doing my best on the description. I will be glad to setup a time for anyone who would like to see the car in person. Alright, now a list of the goodies. · 396 Big Block (not numbers matching but from an early 70’s Chevelle) rebuilt with less than 500 miles on the engine. 500+ HP · 4-speed Saginaw 12 bolt positive traction rear end 4.10 gears, Muncie shifter (recently rebuilt and believed to be original) · Cranberry Red/ Black Stripes · Rally sport wheels with P275/60 R15 on the rear and P235/70 R15 on front · Original Interior minus headliner carpet and steering wheel ( I like the originality of the car) · I believe it’s all original sheet metal · Get in the Muscle Car business without breaking the bank. This car is so fun to drive. · Flowmaster 3 inch exhaust ( full length headers) · Holley 80770-1 Carburetor · The car has had the same owner for the last 12 years. · Show winning engine bay · Tinted windows · Has traditional breather that goes with car · All the glass is good Now the reason it’s not a 30K car. · Paint has a few blemishes · It’s not a ground up or rotisserie restoration(it’s a super nice driver) · The speedometer doesn’t work all the time. · No spare tire · Headrest has rough place on drivers side This car is priced to sell because I’m ready for something new. It is sold as is. I’m a private seller and not interested in trades. If you buy the car and decide it’s not what you want or it’s not like I say then you will not be obligated to finish the deal.
