Hello, I had to put a lot of thought into selling my 40. I have only owned it a year. But i decided to go another direction. Here is the history on this all original pickup. I bought it from a man down in Tenn. He had the truck for a while and the guy he got it from had it forever. Originally from Georgia but spent all its life in Tenn. I can't tell you enough how this truck runs and drives. The v8 flathead purrs like a sewing machine it had some Hot Rod updates. It has Reds headers and a rebuilt Bubbas Distributor ,Tube shocks on the rear. The drive train is real nice. Rebuilt clutch hooking up to a 3:73 Banjo. New brakes all around. New master cyl. Me and my son in law rewired to whole truck last summer for the road. It has turn signals with an original sig-stat turn signal indicator. The wipers work, the heater too.We hooked up a dome light that was in the truck. It has an original side door ashtray. All the gauges work. New optima batterery. Tap the starter and she's running. No smoke just that sound of a Flatty! And as you can see... brand new Cokers, American Made. US tubes and original 4in wide 16 in. 40 wheels, It will need some resto on front end components to make for long distance rides, seat will also need to be reupholstered. The body is very straight only small moles in cowl corners Everything is here for a high dollar original resto. Drive as is, or restore.. Everyone i talk to tells me to just leave it alone. I feel that my price is fair value of what all the other 40/41s are going for. The truck is in storage right now with the wheels off of it for storage. Please, serious bidders only.
