Forced to relist due to nonresponsive/nonpaying bidder. Please do not bid if you do no intend to pay. I reserve the right to cancel any bids. I am selling a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. It's black with black/gray interior. The car has 170,000 miles on it. It's an SS model with power windows, power door locks, power drivers seat and a power sliding sunroof. I am selling the car 'as is'. It does need some work to be a daily driver. I had it inspected and was told it has a really bad exhaust leak. (You can tell by the way the car sounds that it does.) This is also affecting the way the car drives. It misses. The check engine light is on. The control arm on the drivers side is bent and will need to be replaced. It also needs a battery. The car has been sitting since October. Interior: The car has been smoked in. There are burns in the seat. The seats are dark gray and the trim is black. Some interior parts have been painted blue. The headliner seems to be sagging around the sunroof (see picture). The windshield has a large crack in it. These pictures were taken January 23, 2012, so it's exactly what the car looks like now. I didn't want to clean it...but will before it sells. Engine compartment: The car has been sitting and it doesn't appear to have any puddles under it. It will need a battery. Some of the parts have been painted blue. There is a really bad exhaust leak. There is also a power cable for an amp under the hood, but it doesn't appear to be connected to anything. Exterior: For the most part, the exterior is in good shape to be 12 years old. The hood has a very large scratch on it. The drivers door is scratched, driver back fender has a small dent above the wheel, the mirror is scratched, the passenger side door has a scratch on it. The black paint, to me, is a 5 out of 10...you may disagree since it is 12 years old. I just don't want you to expect showroom new!! Clean Tennessee Title in hand. Second owner. I looked at KBB and even in Fair Condition (They don't do Poor Condition), the car is worth about $3,100.00. My starting price is way less! No reserve! About 2 weeks ago, I borrowed a battery and the car started right up. I drove it about 20 miles. However, if you live more than 50 miles away, I would suggest towing it. I work in Nashville, and can meet there if you don't want to drive to Springfield. But I would NOT drive more than 50 miles. The car pulls to the right and the check engine light is on. I cleaned the interior and the marker and 95% of the stains came out. The carpet and headliner are not still dirty and stained. The driver floor mat has holes in it and the drivers seat has holes. There steering wheel controls work, and there is a CD player. The car has been stored outside. My deposit is $120 and full payment is due within 7 days. I can drive the car to Nashville or Clarksville if needed. I live about 10 miles from I-24 Exit 35.
