This is a 5 day auction! Up for auction again is a 1994 All-Wheel Drive GMC Safari van. This sold 9 days ago to someone who has VANished from the EBAY world. I passed up offers during the last 7 day auction and let the auction go to the end because thats what I said I would do. Don't ask how that worked out for me!!!! Anyway heres my story and I'm sticking to it. I was in Washington state just before Christmas and needed a way home to Arizona. I purchased this van from a county in Oregon and drove it 1400 miles home to Mesa, Az. Spent a night in Reno, then a night in Vegas, then home on Christmas day. No problems at all. It drives very nice. Does not vibrate at 70. After the holidays I took it to the DMV, had it inspected and titled in my name. I noticed that the heater control valve was dripping and had that replaced at a shop. The van had 132,331 on it when I purchased it and now has 133,937 on it. The heat works good and the A/C blows COLD. The body has a small dent behind the rear wheel, pass. side and dings and chips like any 18 year old work vehicle. It has the paint issues all of these white GMC vans had. All the doors open and close easily. None of the door latches are broken and all doors lock and unlock with a key. Sliding door opens and closes easily. The van has no leaks of any kind. Exhaust looks new from acouple feet in front of the muffler to the back. All the glass is good. Has tilt steering. These AWD Astro vans are amazing in the snow. Cruise control works perfectly. The rubber mat in the cab area has no rips. The drivers seat has a couple small tears. The pass. seat is in nice shape. The cargo area has clean black carpet that is easily removable and a rubber mat under it if you are going to use it as a work van. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. $300 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of close of action. Balance due at pick-up or within 7 days of sale( whichever happens first). If you plan to pick it up within those first 7 days... cash only...NO CHECKS or you will have made a wasted trip. I'm retired, so I am able to pick you up at the airport if you want to enjoy the valley sun before driving home. We can even store the van for awhile if you want to fly in and see some spring training baseball in March. In 2006 I sold acouple 70's shorty vans. One went to Ca. and one to Pa.
