1980 Honda CT 70. For me, it's the nicest CT 70 Honda ever produced. This one has only 298 original miles. The engine is not even break in!!! The story is this one. I always wanted this model, but you can't get any decent one in the entire US. I tracked a family that has 2 of them in a barn in Pennsylvania. They bought them in 1980, used them for 1 week, and leave them there until i found them. I got both motorcycles, restored everything on both, and i'll sell one, and the other will be keep by my girlfriend. The restoration was made entirely by me, the frame is painted the original Tahitian Red in powder coat, so you can hit it with a hammer, and the paint will stay there, it'll not chip. All the chrome was done, all the bolts were plated, new battery and tires, and that's it, because the bike was rusty, but with no mileage. It's like going 32 years ago to an Honda dealership and get the bike. It starts on the first kick, always. You can even hear the engine, it's new!!! The other items that i putted are new gas tank, new fork sliders ( original Honda, the originals were all rusty ) and complete new exhaust ( also Honda ) I don't think that there is another 1980 CT 70 with 298 miles in the entire US. Here is the chance to get a treasure. You will not have the opportunity to get something like this in a future. I have the clear FL title at my name, original tool kit and original owners manual. I have 2 keys but they're not the original ones. The previous owner can't find the keys when i got the bike, and i have to put a new drum on the bike. Payment should be $ 500 immediately after the auction closes via Paypal, and the remaining with a certified check or wire transfer ( or cash in person ) If you want to pay the remaining with Paypal, the fees that they charge me they'll be added. On Jan-31-12 at 05:20:50 PST, seller added the following information: All the work performed on the bike was professionally done, even the mirrors. They're not cheap chinese $ 20 ones. Since i was unable to find them here in the US, i have to track them back to a shop in Europe. They came in original Honda box, and they cost me more than the new exhaust.
