This is a 1995 Mazda MX-6 seized by the Milford Police Department during a criminal investigation. The vehicle was awarded to the City of Milford by the Delaware Superior Court and the City holds a clear title. The vehicle is not registered, and not insured for operation on any public roadway of any state.The vehicle has dents and dings all over but does not appear to have disabling damage. Paint does shine however there are scuffs, scratches, dings, and clear coat fade on various areas. All tires are inflated, the RR tire holds air but does not have tread. Other tires appear serviceable. Vehicle starts and shifts. Clutch is functional. Brakes appear to be operational. Vehicle is dirty inside and out and is in need of detailing. Factory stereo is missing and has been replaced by an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD which does work. The factory stereo may be in the trunk. Headliner is torn and has been written on and carved into. Seats are leather and dirty. Carpet is dirty. All glass appears intact and it is unknown if accessory functions such as horn, wipers, sunroof, etc... are operational. Dash Lights are operational and warning lights are operational. Vehicle can be inspected by appointment, Mon-Fri 9:00 AM-2:00 PM at 400 NE Front Street, Milford DE 19963. Buyer is responsible to remove vehicle within 10 days of auction close. Buyer is responsible for all equipment necessary to remove the vehicle. The City of Milford will not fuel the vehicle, tow the vehicle, provide rope, chain, or assistance to load the vehicle. Upon completion of auction, the vehicle will be moved to a location which is accessible as necessary to load/remove it. Seller makes no warranty express or implied as to any function of this vehicle, it is sold AS-IS. The City of Milford does not finance, does not accept credit cards, and will not stop the auction early to sell the vehicle privately. Full Payment required within 3 days of auction close unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon. Payment is accepted by Personal Check, COD, Cashiers Check, and Money Order. The City reserves the right to with hold delivery of vehicle and/or vehicle title until payment has cleared. Proceeds from this vehicle are submitted to the State of Delaware for deposit in the State Aid to Local Law Enforcement Fund (SALLE). The City of Milford does not receive benefits or profit from this sale. For this reason, the City of Milford will make no repairs and makes no effort to condition the vehicle for sale.
