Up for auction is my barely-ridden, fully loaded 2010 R-1200 GS Adventure, 30-Years Special Edition. I purchased this bike new in July 2010 from Cliff's BMW in Danbury (now Max BMW) for an out the door price of just over $25k. I sold an 1150GSA in order to buy this 1200GSA but I missed the 1150 so much that I bought another '04 1150GSA, which I ride more than this 1200, hence less than 900 miles on the 1200 in 18 months. That's only about two tanks worth of fuel for this bike! The bike is fully loaded: Special Edition 30 Yrs (a $795 option) Heated Grips ($250) On Board Computer ($295) Integral ABS II ($1,100) Enduro Transmission Saddle Bag Mounts ($350) Adventure Aluminum Saddle Bags, keyed ($2,139 installed) ESA - Electronic Suspension ($800) Control Operator Concept Fog Lights ($450) Two Keys Operators Manual Plus: BMW special battery charger for CAN-BUS bikes Touratech GPS mount for Garmin NUVI (mount is included but not the NUVI) Condition of the bike is in keeping with the very low miles. There's some slight shelf wear on the hard bags, but that's pretty much it. If anything the bike is a little dusty from lack of use. I think a thorough detailing would put the bags like new as well. This bike has half its factory BMW 3 year/36,000 mile warranty left, including road side assistance. The 30-Years model is a unique looking GS, especially in the Adventure version. There were not many of these made (about 150 or so I have read), so you're not likely to see one on the road very often. I have a NY title in my name and will also provide a NY State Bill of Sale. The bike can be seen by appointment, although I will be out of town 2/3-2/9, so pickup would have to happen after 2/9. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. The bike needs no attention until the next scheduled service interval at 6k miles. - The bike has never been down. - Thanks for the trade offers but I'm not looking to trade for anything. - The Enduro transmission has a shorter (numerically higher) first gear for more control in slow speed terrain and for easier starting off with a loaded down bike. - The GPS mount is actually for a Garmin Zumo (not a Garmin NUVI). Brain fade: I was thinking about another bike. - Yes, I did buy another 1150GSA (it can be seen in one of the photos) after buying this 1200GSA and it was not because of any deficiencies regarding this 1200GSA. As little as I get to ride, and with 95% of that time being solo, the numerous benefits of the 1200GSA versus the 1150GSA are simply overkill for me. - The title is in my name and will be signed over to the winning bidder along with a release from BMW Financial Services showing the financed portion of the purchase is cleared.
