This is a 1997 Ford F150 Extended Cab Pickup which was seized by the Milford Police Department during a Criminal Investigation. This vehicle was awarded to the City of Milford by the Delaware Superior Court and the City is in possession of a clear title for this vehicle. Vehicle is in decent shape and was running and being driven at the time it was stopped and subsequently seized. The vehicle currently will not start and seller makes no claims as to the running condition or accessory operation on this vehicle. More than likely, replacing the battery will allow the vehicle to start and run. The vehicle has approximately 138,000 Miles on it. The Right Side tires are flat but will take air. The RF Rim is missing a piece at the outside bead seat area (See Photo) and it is recommended that it be replaced before driving or operating vehicle. The tires are not serviceable and need to be replaced. Vehicle is dirty inside and out however it appears that it would clean up nicely inside and out. The Factory Stereo is missing and has been replaced with an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD player. It is unknown if this unit works. The trim around the radio has been removed and does not appear to be inside the vehicle. Vehicle has dings and dents but not apparent disabling damage and no major damage. The vehicle is being sold AS-IS with no warranty. Vehicle can be inspected by appointment at 400 NE Front Street, Milford DE 19963, Mon-Fri between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Buyer will receive vehicle as is and is responsible to have vehicle removed within 10 days of auction close. Buyer will need to bring everything neccessary to remove the vehicle including, but not limited to: Trailer, Tow Truck, Tow Dolly, Rope, Chain, Winch, tools, etc.... This vehicle will be removed from storage for pick up by buyer. The City of Milford will make no repairs other than what is needed to move the vehicle outside of the storage facility. All repairs and shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Seller strongly suggests this vehicle be removed by trailer or flatbed. Seller makes no warranty express or implied as to any function of this vehicle, it is sold AS-IS. The City of Milford does not finance, does not accept credit cards, and will not stop the auction early to sell the vehicle privately. Full Payment required within 3 days of auction close unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon. Payment is accepted by Personal Check, COD, Cashiers Check, and Money Order. The City reserves the right to with hold delivery of vehicle title until payment has cleared. Proceeds from this vehicle are submitted to the State of Delaware for deposit in the State Aid to Local Law Enforcement Fund (SALLE). The City of Milford does not receive benefits or profit from this sale. For this reason, the City of Milford will make no repairs and makes no effort to condition the vehicle for sale. It will not re-start after it is shut off and then a re-start is attempted. Again, more than likely the battery is bad after storage. This is not unusual with vehicles we have stored and then sold. Also, the vehicle seems to go into all gears properly. It was only driven a short distance but does appear to shift. The LF Tire has come unseated from the wheel so buyer will more than likely need a trailer, or will need to bring 2 wheels and tires to fit the vehicle. Again: THIS IS ADDED INFORMATION ONLY.
