Completely original 320i with 5-speed manual transmission, sunroof, original toolkit and only 100,110 miles! I am the third owner and have the original sticker for the vehicle. This BMW runs terrific! I purchased the car from a friend 2 years ago, and he only owned it for about a year before losing his job and having to sell. In the last 3 years, the following maintenance has been performed: - intake decarbon - new fan blade - new clutch assembly - new crankshaft seal - new intake manifold gasket - new valve cover gasket - new oil filter - new fuel hoses - new trunk seal - new alternator, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor - new belts - new OEM muffler, with chrome exhaust tip - new stereo with MP3 player connection in glove box - new tires (now have 8,000 miles) - new Berber floor mats In total, approximately $4,700 has been spent on this BMW since September 2008. Everything has been kept 100% original except stereo. I have invoices for the above work, mostly performed at Import Doctors in San Ramon, CA. The other items I worked on myself (muffler, belts, tune-up). The paint is original and looks pristine from 10 feet. Looks very good up-close but you can tell its 30 years old. There is rust developing on the lower edge of each door which I've detailed in the photos. I've used this car as a second vehicle and have loved every minute of driving it. She's seen many road trips up the California coast and to Napa Valley. I'm selling because we have 3 cars and really only need 2 right now. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. A few disclosures: - driver's side fog light does not work, I think it may be the wiring - when engine is cold, it will sometimes stall when car comes to a stop under fast braking but starts up again instantly - front brake rotors may be warped, as steering wheel can shimmy when breaking at high speed - speedometer needle works off and on, does not affect tachometer which works correctly - coolant temp gauge sometimes skips up for no reason, but the cooling system was checked in 2008 and is in fine shape - A/C works but does not put out cold air, I've never needed it in the cool Bay Area climate and never had an interest to get it checked out - rust spots on lower edge of each door, along with surface rust in trunk (because of bad trunk seal)On Jan-25-12 at 07:20:49 PST, seller added the following information: __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1/25/12 Update: I've received great interest and many questions on the car, thank you. I've had a few questions regarding the vehicle's registration in California, so I thought I'd go ahead and post more details. I've had to smog this vehicle twice during my ownership and both times passed with no issues. Registration was recently renewed and runs through December 2012. I also wanted to confirm that this is a NO RESERVE auction. This car WILL sell to the highest bidder.
