1976 Scout II Terra two wheel drive in original condition. Was built as economy model for 1976 with 304 V8,2 barrel carb.,dual exhaust,4 speed manual transmission and 3:07 posi track rear differential. Also has power steering and power brakes,disk in front. Was sitting from 2003 until 2011 when previous owner bought it and made repairs in order to make it a dependable driver again. Odometer reads 38234 and has probably turned over since it is a 1976. Recent repairs include new 33 gallon fuel tank,tank sender and new lines. New master cylinder, carburator rebuilt and new starter. Starts,runs,shifts and drives good, drive train feels real tight. Engine lifters make a little noise when first starts but quiet down soon after. Engine sounds and runs good,very fun to drive. Interior is in good shape for the year,seat has no rips or tears, dash pad has some small cracks,radio plays and gauges work with the exception of original temp. gauge ,there is an aftermarket temp gauge mounted under dash. Wipers,lights,heater work. Body has never been painted,has surface rust and a few dings. The bottom of the bed will need to be replaced but bed sides and wheel wells are in good shape. Also has rust behind both doors,above both rear tires and is just starting in interior kick panels.All of this is very repairable. All structural areas are good,no rust in floors,door pillars cab mounts or under structure. Top is in good shape, needs a small amount of repair on both sides at rear down low. No cracked or broken glass,windshield has a couple of small rock chips. Original jack,jack handle and tire iron are still in place,also includes original owners manual and complete International service manual for 1976 Scout II. This is a very complete and original vehicle that is missing only one piece of trim at right rear. If you have questions that I have not addressed e mail me and I'll answer if I can.
