Vehicle Detail

PRICED TO SELL! This auction is for a 1967 Camaro RS With Deluxe interior Color: Turqoise with black stripe (original color was Gold) Engine: 396 (ported to a 402) Big Block (NOT original engine. Original engine was a small block) Transmission: Auto 2speed power glide I believe. Other specs: drum brakes, year old shocks, year old battery, year old power steering pump ( but it may need tightening as there is a small leak from it. Body: Great Condition. No rust (can't confirm if all metal is original). Looks to have some battery acid damage but it is minor. Only issue with metal is the trunk. It is complete and was redone, but for some reason they made the trunk shallow. Paint: Driver quality. There are some chipping and runs. Racing stripes does have bubbling. Engine: Starts up, driveable. I drove it 30 miles to and from car shows. Engine sounds great. Power steering. Interior: All gauges work except for voltmeter (may just need to be hook up). Lights all work. History I bought this car with years of research and an itch to restore a 1st Gen Camaro. Saved my money and was able to get this car. Once I got it, I tried doing a couple of things and realized that restoring classic cars is not my cup of tea. so, it sits in my garage. Been with me now for a couple of years. The Camaro needs to find a new home. Step on the gas and car goes straight. engine sounds like how a big block should sound. I don't know too much about cars but feel free to ask me questions and i will try and answer them as best i could. Some info on the car: Engine is not original to car. Was told it is a 396 ported to a 402. Transmission is a 2 speed automatic. Car fires up everytime but does take a few minutes to warm up. Car does overheat as the radiator is too small and also it's missing the fan hood. This is really the only thing really needed for the car. This car can be driven locally as you restore it to it's past glory. The bad. It's over forty years old. There is always a bad. Items needed to be driveable: New radiator (the one on it is too small). It will overheat pretty quickly. Other than this it is a fully driveable car. Items needed: Seat belts need installing. i bought generic ones. Emergency brakes not connected RS headlight cover needs motor assembly Radiator needs replacing to accommodate big block. Currently engine overheats after some driving. Windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced Needs windshield washer and blades components No heater/ac components New tires Exhaust pipe brackets worn and need to be replaced audio entertainment system Other items that I would change/fix: Alternator works but needs a stronger one Convert drum brakes to disc Fix trunk pan to proper specs Align doors better. There is a slight droop when trying to close door. Restore interior Replace bushings Replace exhaust pipes and muffler Replace front shocks If i have failed to answer any questions, please ask before you bid. This car is sold as is. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY. If you have zero feedback rating, please contact me first before bidding. Otherwise, i will cancel your bid. Email me if you would like to schedule to see car in person. during the weekdays i will be available to show car only after 7pm. I am available most of the weekends. Car is for sale locally so auction is subject to end at my disgression. NO TRADES.
