2000 Corvette Convertible. 160K miles. This car is driven daily. It is reliable and there are no issues with its driving. I recently drove it from Dallas to Austin and back for a business meeting. It does, however, have a number of items that need to be addressed. The top has small three holes in the exterior material on the passenger side (see photos) and one on the even smaller on drivers side. The interior material is ok, so water does not come in when it rains. Both visors are rotted off due to over exposure to the Texas sun (see photos). The heater will periodically stop working, but then for no apparent reason begin functioning again. Both seats have small tears (see photos). The paint on the radio buttons is worn off (see photos). The is a small leak on the water pump. The oil gauge stays pegged while the engine is on. The engine light came on about 30K miles ago. My mechanic's computer tells him to refer me to the dealer. I have not gone, so I dont know why its on. The remote to unlock the door does not work. The driver side door has about an inch of broken fiberglass on the edge (see photos). The passenger door is missing the red lens on the lower right portion of the door (see photos) The body has many small scratches, but looks good from a distance. There is a larger scratch over the left rear wheel (see photo). There is also a white scuff on the left side of the trunk which extends over to the quarter panel (see photo). The message center will periodically throw random issues, mostly false. The windshield washer pump does not work. Finally, there is an oil leak on the oil pan. I have included pictures of most of these items for your review. This is an opportunity for a buyer with time and skill to refurb a vette, but who also wants a car to drive immediately. Best offer over starting price takes it.
