Vehicle Detail

For Sale---1965 Ford Falcon Two Door Wagon. This Wagon is equipped with a 200 six cylinder motor and a C-4 Automatic Transmission. I purchased it from the original owner about 5 years ago. It was originally equipped with a column-mounted Manual Transmission, but I converted it to a C-4 Automatic. The Wagon has about 200k miles on it. The engine has been previously rebuilt at some point and runs very well. I drove this car to the Falcon Club of America Convention in the Colorado Rockie Mountains and back to the SF Bay Area with no problems this past summer. I have also drove to Portland (Oregon) two times in the last 5 years. The wagon runs very well and can easily sustain speeds of 65 mph on the highway. The interior has been reupholstered in the past couple of years. There was some rust in the floor pans, but I patched those a few years back. There is a small amount of rust in the right rear corner of the roof that I treated with POR-15...also on a metal strip at the rear of the wagon floor Overall, this is a solid California car in daily driver condition. The paint is okay for a Daily Driver, but I do have all of the paint products (about $500 worth that can be included with the car) to spray it in its original Wimbeldon white color. I have included some photos and videos. A few words about the interior since somebody asked...the seat covers were custom sewn. They are not in the original style...they are more in a "deluxe"style, even though there was not a Deluxe 2 Door Wagon in '65. The front and rear door panels were also custom made in "deluxe" style. The carpet is aftermarket and could be replaced as there is staining. The headliner is in good shape with no tears... it had been replaced by the original owner. For a few years, I noticed that water was entering the car when it rained. I discovered that water was entering the interior through the wing window seals. I'm not sure that replacing them will solve the problem, so I just put a strip of weather strip tape in a strategic location to prevent water leakage. I think the windshield seal may also have some leakage because it appears to be the original weatherstripping and is cracked. Please keep in mind that this car is driven on a regular basis and is NOT a show car. It is a very nice driver with tons of potential. A lot of people have told me to convert it to a V-8, but I already have a hot rod...and the six and C-4 work great...and gas is not getting any cheaper. This rare 2-Door wagon is registered and ready to go, and has a clear California title with California vintage plates. Please contact me via Ebay if you have any questions or wish to make an appointment to inspect the car, or to set up a phone call to discuss it. I would encourage any potential buyer to personally inspect the car or have your representative inspect it. Thank you! I will cooperate with your Shipper if necessary. < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < < Click Here. Double your traffic. Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! Click Here. Double your traffic.
