I bought this truck in California about a month ago. Replaced the tires, rotors, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, radio, speakers and cold air intake. Then I drove it back to Pa. I've put a little over 3500 miles on it and have had not one issue whatsoever. Registered in Pa. Safety inspected (good until 12/12) There are no Rips, Frays, Tears, Stains on seats, carpet, headliner. Anywhere. Banks Engine Management retrofit, stainless headers, Transmission programmer etc. It's a screamer. 80mph is quiet and steady. It's just that nice. I added the Ca. approved K&N cold air intake, another remarkable improvement. (about 1mpg and it breathes right) The bed is drilled for a 5th, but the guy I bought it from moved it to his new rig. There is an outlet for the 5th ahead of the wheelwell in the bed. Brake controller, factory tow package 10,000# GVW The new tires are sized correctly and the odometer is dead on accurate. I bought them new at Big "O" tire in Redding Ca. Polk speakers in the doors, Infinities in the rear. I didn't install the amp and subwoofer, but I appreciate the expert work that went into it. Everything is loomed, secured, soldered and shrinktubed. I did put a next generation Alpine head unit in it. That is soldered too, to a jack. Not a wire nutted/crimped/taped disaster waiting to happen.It has a 1/4" aux face port as well as a USB face port. iPod compatabile. or just use a flash drive. The brake rotors were cracked when I bought the truck. I replaced them along with the brakes. Suspension is tight. I got a stone chip in the windshield on the way back and had it replaced. The shop guys commented on this trucks condition, the insp. mechanic commented, stop at the gas station, get comments. Trucks like this don't exist back east. Please, if you do buy this.....undercoat it. That was my next step. Okay, the payment. The guy I bought this from related to me this story of his friend. Who went to the bank, got cash to make a deal and upon returning the balance of the money he didn't spend to the bank was told he had counterfeit bills. They were the bills the bank gave him. True story. So before you leave the bank, for your own protection....make them check each bill in front of you. His buddy was just out the money and had what I'm sure was not a fun interview with very serious people about why he had the funny money in the first place. Thanks, Jim
