This car being from the west with its dry weather has held up very well. The engine has been replaced due to a rod sticking out the block when I bought it. I did however keep the 3rd member. The engine I installed, had a big bore kit on it and runs very strong. When installing the engine I kept and rebuilt the solex carbs which work very well. New clutch was also installed. This 912 drives and handles like a porsche should. I have gone through the brakes,engine, electrics,suspension, clutch. wipers, transmission and so on. All my vintage cars I have built for one thing and that is to drive them. This 912 has taken my wife and I to Los Angelos a coulple times and Az with out a problem. She is a daily driver that gets 30 miles a gallon. I have all the paper work for work done since the 70's.
