Vehicle Detail
1959 Mercedes 190SL with black California license plates, flawless body gaps, and factory original floors. Garaged, zero rust ever, one documented owner since the early 1960's, 116K original miles. Owned by a musician who played lead bass for the San Francisco Symphony for 30 years. The factory metal on this 190sl is untouched, just as it was new. We dry-ice blasted the undercarriage to expose the pristine original floors: every spot weld perfect, no rust repairs ever. Numbers-matching engine and transmission, runs and drives beautifully. When I first met the owner, he showed me one of his prized bass instruments, over 300 years old. Like this car, it is in amazing original condition: 3 centuries of use in symphonies throughout the world, and no damage whatsoever. He treated this car with the same care. After six months of discussions, the owner reluctantly agreed to sell me this fine Mercedes. We did an extensive re-freshening, and now it is available to you. Thanks for looking!
