Vehicle Detail

I'm the original owner, I'm 47 and I've taken great care of this bike. It is essentially stock, though I have added frame sliders (thankfully, never needed them), a "Double-bubble" windscreen and a 12 volt receptacle for powering/charging radar detectors, cell phones, etc. Though I can't remember the count, I also fitted a one tooth smaller front gear, which greatly improved low speed operation without sacrificing much on the highway. I probably did this change about 3,000 miles ago. This bike previously served as my "Sport Tourer", the vast majority of the miles were put on running up the coast to spectate at MotoGP races. With the luggage rack I made (included, if you want it) it makes it very easy to fit a duffle bag and/or saddle bags (not included) securely to the bike. I also have the stock rear seat and will include and/or fit as you request. As you can see from the photo, the tires are pretty new and still in good shape (they're $$ Michelin Pilot Powers). I've tried to point out in the photos the various scratches on the bike, a few on the tail section, probably due to my luggage and both side of the exhaust have minor scrapes which are due to my squeezing out of the metal entrance gate at my house, NOT from the bike being down - it never has been. I also snapped off the very end (most rearward, about 3/8 inch) tip of the rear trim piece, it's very minor, if I hadn't told you, you'd probably never even notice, but I wanted to be clear. The one safety recall associated with the bike was taken care of shortly after I bought the bike (#2098, idle speed control valve replacement). I never notice a problem before the repair was completed and certainly not since. Frankly, the ignition and fuel injection mapping on this bike are about the best I have ever seen. I think that's about it. If you purchase this bike you will love it. As I said, I hate to part with this bike, but my new bike will more fit my old guy program. I will not crate the bike for shipping, however, I will make the reasonable effort required to meet you or your shipping company for transport of the bike. Good luck bidding! On Jan-09-12 at 19:32:03 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention, I have the clean title in hand. On Jan-13-12 at 06:03:10 PST, seller added the following information: I located and installed the rear cowl and will include if purchaser wants it. Upon removing the luggage rack to install the cowl, I found a small scratch, likely the result of rubbing (see new photos). Thanks again for looking. On Jan-13-12 at 06:08:25 PST, seller added the following information: After adding the rear cowl photos I noticed that it seems my garage lights or the camera flash created what appears to be some odd spots on the paint. In fact, there are none, with the exception of the scratch I pointed to, the paint on the cowl is perfect. I believe this is the first time I have installed it on the bike.
