Vehicle Detail
1967 Pontiac GTO 2Dr Hardtop, Silver Glaze exterior, Turquoise interior. The car was originally Montego Cream with a Black interior, the colors were changed by a previous owner-I am not sure how many owners it has had. It has a 400 cubic inch engine (not original to the car, but is a YS code 1967 GTO motor), transmission is the 400 turbohydramatic, with Hurst dual gate shifters. The mileage is approximately 106,000, TMU. While not a show car, it is solid, and definitely looks and runs good, and is not major restoration project by any means. There are a few minor dings, but I have tried to take pictures as best I could, they are on the hood, two small chips in the paint. The frame on the car is in great shape, it appears to have had a frame-off restoration sometime prior to my purchasing it, but probably within the last 10 years, and the body has very minimal Bondo near the edge of the rear window only. The only thing I have done to it since buying it in 10/2005 is have a CD player (with remote) installed in the glove box, and there are new speakers and speaker covers, but those could easily be switched out. I don't really want to sell it, but since having my son in 2007, it hasn't seen much driving, due to having no seat belts and no way to install a car seat. We never got around to having some belts welded in. In the last 3 years, it has probably been out 3 times. It was last started and driven about 2 weeks ago. It has been garage kept, but does need some minor maintanance due to not being driven. I do have the PHS paperwork, and the title is clear. It would be great for a local cruise night, or if you have the funds and the desire, you could certainly take it to the next level of restoration. I bought it from Carroll Street Auto LLC, in Manchester, New Hampshire, and had it shipped to me here in Illinois. If you do not live in my local area, it would need to be shipped to you, at your expense. I can tell you that in 2005 it cost $1070.00 to be shipped, I am not sure what the cost would be today. There is no warranty intended or implied, and the car is being sold as-is. Please feel free to ask any questions, and I will do my best to answer them. On Nov-03-11 at 07:35:06 PDT, seller added the following information: The 106,000 miles are not on the motor currently in the car, they are just the odometer listing. The mileage on the current motor is probably less than 500-1000.
