1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V This automobile is in unbelievable original condition. Only 68,729 miles. I have not detected any previous paint work and the paint is still very healthy. This car has obviously been garaged and pampered since new. The chrome is absolutely beautiful with the exception of a few small dings (very minor) on the right rear wheel arch molding. 1979 was the last year for this large coupe. It features the ford 400 cu. in. Cleveland (6.6L) engine and the C6 automatic transmission. The "miles to empty" indicator represents the first dashboard LED display used by an American automobile manufacturer. The quadraphonic AM/FM 8-track system also includes a CB radio. It is difficult to find any cosmetic flaws on this classic, with the exception of a few minor rock chips on and around the headlight eyelids, that open and close correctly. Mechanically this car appears to have been serviced meticulously. I have driven it over 500 miles and am not aware of any negative issues. To insure it's reliability I have just had the carburetor rebuilt , replaced the water pump, upper to lower radiatorhoses and all V-belts. The muffler and tailpipe appear to have just been replaced also. The cream colored paint has been accented with cordovan Landau Vinyl roof that looks like new with no cracks or fading (still very pliable). The interior is in absolutely stunning condition.
