1986 Honda XL 600R dual purpose motorcycle. This bike is used and does need some TLC to get it back on the road. First, this bike does have some type of electrical problem. The majority of the electronics have been gone through and tested but to no avail in finding the issue. The last time the bike was started, it ran but back-fired excessively and had idle issues. This bike is complete and will come with everything pictured as well as a box containing misc. parts and manuals. This bike has a practically brand new tire already installed on the front. The rear is not new but it will come with a new rear (uninstalled). The plastics appear to be in decent shape, certainly not show quality but are sound enough to be used regularly. There appear to be 2 very small cracks forming near the rear tail light (vibration stress). The carbs were rebuilt around 6 months ago. New stator with capabilty of adding several off-road lights was installed when carbs were rebuilt. This bike also has a Super Trapp Muffler and a high-performance coating on the exhaust pipes. The motor has good compression. Kick-start only. Clear Texas title in hand. This will make a great thumper project for a person willing to solve the mysterious electrical problem!
