1968 Plymouth Roadrunner Sur-vi-vor: 1: to remain alive or in existence, live on 2: to continue to function or prosper "merriam-webster.com" This car is the absolute definition of "survivor". This is a 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner which has never been fully painted, restored, or molested in any other way. The original 383 engine and 727 torqueflight are still present. There is 335 horsepower going to the rear wheels which spins the posi-traction differential with no problem. Look at the pictures! It is optioned with power steering, front sway-bar, heavy duty brakes, custom (original) interior, and front/rear AM stereo speakers. This car is as original as it gets! The paint is all original except for where I believe the passenger side quarter was spotted in during the early seventies. The interior has never been redone! The drive train seems to be as it was when it left the factory aside from tune up parts and routine maintenance. Runs and drives very well. This is not a show quality car, but is as nice of an original car as I have seen. You would be hard pressed to find a better foundation for a restoration. The last time it was licensed was in 1973, and is still in the original owner's name. Bought new in 1968 at Cheney Plymouth in Eastern Washington. I have not touched this car in nearly 20 years except to wash it for these pictures. It would be a great car to show as a survivor at any car show or would be a great foundation for a restoration or do a Hemi-car clone. I pulled up the carpet to show the quality of the floor pans. See all the pics to verify how solid the car is. The only minor issues I have been able to find is a spot on the hood next to the hood latch and some very small henpecks in the trunk pan. There is a picture of the hood issue...THIS IS NOT TYPICAL OF THE REST OF THE CAR. The decay in the front of the hood is totally repairable and is only there because of a mouse nest which I found no more evidence of mice when I went throught the car. The quarters, fenders and floor pan are phenominal! This car has been in dry storage for many, many years. See all the pictures below of the car including when it was pulled out of storage. The winning bidder is to pay a non-refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours of the auction end through paypal.
