This is a 1970 VW Squareback , automatic, The 2 front seats have rips on the outside upper corners, the back seat is in great shape, the door & rear panels are great. The carpet has been removed because it was in bad shape. I haven't replaced it yet. The car has a rare, optional Full Automatic transaxle. You put it in drive and go ! We have put around 3000 miles on her this past summer. This car doesn't have heat currently, the heat exchangers have been removed and replaced with j tubes. It was used as a summer vehicle so heat wasn't needed. In the spring it got a top end rebuild, big bore kit on it (1641) rebuilt the heads and converted over to Dual Empi ICT Carbs. also replaced a bunch of other parts to include fuel pump, cap , rotor, wires, plugs , points , condensor, fuel filter, new rear wheel cylinders,shoes , rebuilt front calipers & pads, tie rod ends, Tires, Original vintage old school CENTERLINE wheels. I have the original wheels also . Also has a Nice Vintage Roof Rack that is going with the car . Has a spare tire. The original bumpers come with it. They are straight but, the chrome isn't that great. Right now it kind of has that Volksrod , Hood ride, Rat rod look going on . Structurally it is a solid car . The floors & channels are very solid. All the suspension mount points are solid, Jack points are great ! Can still lift the whole side of the car from the jack points. There are a few areas With rust/rot,on the lower outter rockers, Inside front wheel well area & front apron. It was in a little fender bender , An old guy backed into it in a parking lot. Gives it character ! Some worn spots in the paint , other little scratches & chips here and there but , very presentable. You can roll it like it is or Restore it ! Either way , you have a great running solid car . This car is registered and on the road But, it will be getting stored for the winter real soon ! I would like to sell it to get cash for another VW project. This car comes with a bill of sale & a copy of my current registration. NH doesn't title anything over 15 years old.
