Vehicle Detail

1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Project - No title - will give a bill of sale. Sheet metal and all components are rusty. There is a V8 in the car - i did not attempt to start it - not a numbers matching engine - transmission and rear in car. I bought MA in 2010 hoping to restore it - to many projects for me at this time. For additional pictures please see this link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/55127153@N05/sets/72157625737628094/On Jan-09-12 at 10:56:57 PST, seller added the following information: Update of Monday January 9, 2012: I took a good look at the rocker panels (rails) I will adress the rockers in 3 parts - 1) the part you see inside by the door was well photographed in the photos in the link and it looks good. 2) the outside area that is at a 45 degree angle but faces out to the street has rust holes but there is alot of area that is good - so they can be patched. 3) and then the bottom portion level with the ground and going back towards the floor pans which turns into a flange - that is the real important part - as it joins to the floor pans - they have rust - but its mostly surface and does not look rusted thru. Except at the back near the rear wheel, those rockers can be worked with to weld to it. Feel free to call me with queations - happy bidding Eliot 9 1 7 - 7 5 0 - 4 3 3 3 On Jan-09-12 at 11:02:04 PST, seller added the following information: One additional item - I did spin the fan - so it appears that the engine (V8) is not locked up. The belts are not attached so i do not know if the pulleys would turn. Happy bidding. On Jan-09-12 at 11:17:58 PST, seller added the following information: Regarding the rust on the body - the car is brown with surface rust - the car was evidently ground down - for purposes of repainting it - and then left. But its not thru and a good percent can be used.
