I am relisting the car because of a non-paying bidder. Please do not use the buy-it-now unless you intend to purchase the car. Up for sale is a 1997 BMW Z3 convertible roadster. I am the second owner and purchased the car from the original owner recently. It is in excellent condition as you can see from the photos. It runs, shifts and drives great. It has over $1000 in recent work done to it. New front and rear brakes and rotors, new Sony stereo with MP3 hookup, new battery, new control arm bushings, new alternator belt, fresh oil change with Mobil Full Synthetic. There has been more recent work but I can't think of it at the moment. This car has been pampered, always garaged and has all service records. It has 149,xxx miles but you would never know by driving it or looking at it. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and the 1.9 bulletproof 4 cylinder BMW engine. If you don't know anything about the M44 engine, they are bulletproof. If it needs anything, I would say that it may need an alignment. It pulls a little bit but nothing major. I just drove it out to Orange and back and it ran great. There is also a very small dent right in the front of the hood and the grills are a bit loose. This is minimal as well but I wanted to point it out. Other than that, the paint and body are in excellent condition. Everything works on the car and works well. A/C blows ice cold and the heat works perfectly. Also, there is a 2 inch tear in the rear window that just happened when I had the car detailed. I will seal it before it is sold. The only reason that I'm selling the car is because I bought it for my fiancee and it just isn't going to work for her for work. Give me a call at 310.953.1141.
