At auction with no reserve is an excellent commuter or first car in good condition that gets well over 30mpg. Engine: This 1997 Saturn SC1 has 166k miles. As many Saturn owners can attest, these cars run well over 200k, so there is plenty of life left in this engine. The car does not leak oil or coolant. It has a new custom exhaust, waterpump, top motor mount, clutch slave cylinder, coolant temp sensor, accessory belt and tensioner plus recent oil change with synthetic oil. Transmission/clutch: The manual transmission fluid was replaced with new synthetic manual transmission fluid. I do not know if the original clutch has been replaced by any of the prior owners. Body: The exterior panels are plastic and cover a metal uni-body frame. Saturns are generally considered very safe cars. The panels and paint on this car are in good condition. The pictures depict the major defects including a scratch on the passenger door, a haphazard repaint and rock chips on the nose of the car, bumper scuffs on the driver side rear bumper and misfitting front quarter panel. Wheels/tires: The Saturn has aftermarket 16 inch Fittipaldi Design rims. The tires are in above average condition. The price includes the original steel rims and another set of tires which have several thousand miles left in them. Interior: As depicted, the tan interior is very clean. The only major defect in the cuts on the headliner from the prior owner(s). The car is for sale locally so the seller reserves the right to terminate the auction if the vehicle is no longer available. The car will be driven on occasion so mileage may increase.
