double cab 63 crew cab restored 1963 Price: 28k hello selling this recently restored 1963 ruby red double ****more higher resolution pictures are available upon request ********* please read complete vehicle description +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ...california clean title at hand in my name....currently registered till 09/2012 **in very good running condition..just drove it from san diego to long beach for the OCTO (250 miles )...no issues just a smooth enjoyable ride **** ___more pictures upon request--------- most of the time can't awnser phone calls leave a message please--- e-mail usually works better...*** ... painted back to its original ruby red as marked on its m-code plate .. this double cab was taken down to bare metal for body work prep and paint for a very nice "like new" finish..at that point the front corners of the driver floor area where replaced with new ones from wolfsburgwest"...the original ones had a bit of the usual rust pin holes...so i decided to replace them since there are not expensive at all... at that point got the bed and truck gates "massaged" and detailed for a "like new" finish. , it comes with a 1500cc single port engine in good running condition it was in good condition since i got it..so it dint need much attention that your ussual. oil change, spark plugs changed..timing and valve adjustment.....this is a stock double cab..stock interior, stock exterior and color paint scheme and stock height ,,,not modified or lowered or hacked like most you see out there,,,,, some of the feutures are but not limited to : - 12 volt system electrical in working order including : horn, inside dome lights (2) , tail lights/stop lights, turn signals, emergency lights... _ new safari windows and seals from wolfgang int. - THE REAR "GATES" ARE FUNCTIONAL AND OPEN AND CLOSE PERFECTLY...THEY ARE STRaight AS CAN BE AND JUST PERFECT IN MY OPINION - 4 brand new all terrain yokohama tires - Reconditioned and painted gray roof rack -The bed of this truck is as straight and nice ...if you see it you would think this truck is brand new in 1963 and just out of the dealer -New dash board buttons including new dash grab handle - original uncut dash - new outside door handles with chrome in excellent condition the same with the rear passenger door handle _ new front door inner door handles - all new original style gray masonite door panels/kick panels and head liner the best made by Clara in Wa. - new chromed window latches and wing locks both doors - Brand new nos hella front turn signals the rear are just original german swf red tail lights -restored head lights including nos excellent chromed headlight rings - new chromed radio antena - 60's era air filter for the carb is included but not shown in the pictures - recovered front and rear seats following original color and factory specs color and design in good condition _new rear view mirror also new exterior door mirrors -New front rubber floor mat..in the rear there is also a brand new passenger area rubber floor mat from w.w. - all new door rubber and seals/ window seals -Brand new battery _new brake shoes brake system working in perfect order _ hub caps painted l gray "commercial" color _ The undercarriage was sparayed with a thin protective coat of "under-seal" in a gray "commercial" factory like color..it has a nice and clean apearence consistent with the clean apearence of both the body and interior of this nice d.c. this 63 double cab runs good and tranny shifts into all gears smoothly..doesn't pop-out of any gears....this in my personal opinion is a very nice restoration not "concourse" just a very nice resto,, ...wipers motor end all mechanisim parts are present and in working order...only needing the actual "wipers" ,,any ways,,this d.c. doesn't go out to play on rainy days just on perfect california sunny days , ...You are welcomed to come see ,,it is the buyers responsibility to inspect the vehicle or request specific pictures that you would like to see, ****this is a used vehicle 49 years old...restored and registered ..ALL SALES ARE FINAl...no returns***no refunds, full or partial**no warrantys / guarantees written or implied/ sold as is ****NO EXCEPTIONS * asking 28k o.b.o. ....for this german gem .... but now...
