Hi,up for auction is a 1974 Cadillac El Dorado convertible. Quite a rare car, 500 cid engine, front drive. The good, body straight and clean, NO rust can be found, quarters are clean, doors are solid,fenders hood and trunk are also. The windshield in NOT cracked, the convertible top bows are there. The car is mostly complete. The tires are new( well,were new) and have 500 miles on them before being parked several years ago. A lot of car to work with. It is a lein sale car, and a California title can be obtained if needed. The not so good, it does not run. I have not tried to start it as its missing several parts, distributor wires, a/c compressor,heater fan ect. The exhaust is not connected and the starter in in the trunk. The Left hand hood spring is shot. The top has no cloth at all. The interior is shot, the leather is cracked, drivers door panel (whats left of it) is in the trunk with other extra parts. The colunm is not connected. No, I am not going to get it running for you, no, it is NOT driveable. I bought this car the way it is. I had found another coupe and was planning onusing the coupe for parts, but is sold before I could buy it ! Sold "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY KIND OF WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED! It will be sold with clear lien papers in my name and a bill of sale unless buyer wants to pay for one. (Not much and it takes about 3 weeks) i will assist your transport co. in getting it ready for loading.
