Vehicle Detail

ycantibeu21 Store Early 1965-66 3 gauge Porsche 912(VIN designates a late 1965 for a 1966 model year). This car could go back to original very easily, or take it as it is and run with it! It has the flared RS style body kit with Porsche Boxter wheels and 2.5" spacers(ready for the track anyone?)(two of the rims have damage on them). This car is WIDE! I've not seen any others as wide listed here on eBay. This kit could easily be removed if you desire to repaint and make stock again. The lady that owned it before me had put over $10,000 in it before I got it from her. She was over 60 and hadn't been able to drive the car, so I was able to buy it from her out of Idaho. Here is a list of the things that were just done: new brake master cylinder(with brake bleed and new rear hose). new speedometer cable along with new speedometer transmission piece(along with tranny flush and refill of course). Weber carbs have been dismantled and cleaned . new solder on battery terminals. many new light bulbs all around(wiring was mixed up from somebody taking the lenses off). new optima yellow top gel battery(correct size for car). door latch has been repaired to keep door closed. foot pedals have been repaired to make sure they are working correctly(still some extra bushing parts left for new owner to install if desired). I may have forgotten what else was done, but just these few items here alone in parts and labor would run over $2000. The lock for the glove box is open, but either needs to be rekeyed(45 min job) or replaced. Interior headliner lights may need a new bulb or just a fuse(related to plate lights??). License plate lights blow fuse(both easy fix). Front trunk and rear lid lift struts need to be replaced($20 each). I have a set of brake pads and rear shocks I will leave with the car. I also have a set of new aero wiper blades. Windows and chrome trim look great. Original color was Sand Beige, which is a sought after color. It is speed yellow now, has been for some time I understand, so paint is strong, even if its not your favorite color. 4 cylinder engine is era specific and is running great. 4 speed gearbox is also running great. I haven't seen one drop of oil yet hit the ground under the car. As with any car this age, rust is always present(if anyone tells you there isn't, they are just hiding it from you or they are misinformed). But, as you can see, it is merely surface and isn't eating into the body. This car has spent its life in the Pacific Northwest, so not too much sun or salt damage. It is pretty clean compared to many I have seen listed here on eBay in the last 6 months. These cars are classics and just don't tire in the eye of man. And they aren't getting easier to find in decent condition either. This car has a clean and clear Washington State title in hand along with Classic Car license plate status. The car is mostly original and is in decent shape(again, i've seen some real junk here on eBay sell for too much money). I would be happy to ship this overseas, but you will need to wire the money to my bank before I do anything like that. Also, I can bring this to a shipper in Lakewood Wa to be loaded onto a truck. Or, if you want to get your own shipping, that is fine. Either way, you pay for it and all monies must be wired before I let the car go. I will mail the title complete with your name and info already filled in, along with true cost of sale. This must be taken to your local DMV to be processed within 5 business days. This car runs and drives and is in decent shape for its age, I feel confident that with all recent work, the car should be in working condition. It is sold as is, where is, with no warranty. As you can see, I have perfect feedback and I have had power cellar(wine joke) status in the past(just don't sell as much as before). Hopefully I will only have to list this once to sell. I reserve the right to sell locally if an acceptable offer arises. Feel free to hire an inspection of the vehicle. There is nothing to hide here. Thanks and good luck! I will try and post some more photos when possible. Thanks As you can see from these new pictures, the interior is in great shape. Somebody has added a cd player and 4 speakers, but the head unit isn't working and I haven't had time to check the connections, i'll try to get a working one in there if I can. Here are some interior pictures below. If you need more pictures, I may not be able to get them by auction end. good luck!: On Jan-01-12 at 09:58:06 PST, seller added the following information:There seems to be some confusion over the fiberglass RS America kit installed(back when this car was worthless 15 years ago probably). Under the fiberglass is the metal car body. Also, I have an original spare and tire jack. And, if interested, I've got a staggered set of Fuchs style rims with brand new rubber if desired. I'd like $500 for the rims if sold with the car. I am not selling them off the car at this time. Thanks
