Vehicle Detail
I am listing my Impala again as the last buyer has flaked on paying for it! Please dont bid unless you intend to pay for it in full within 3 days of the auction closing. I have a classic car for restoration up for auction. My ex bought this car 5 years ago and never got around to doing anything with it, and he is long gone, so I am selling it. I will describe this car to the best of my knowledge. It is a 2 door hardtop. It has a 400 engine in it, but I couldnt tell you if it is the original engine. It has chrome valve covers on it. We drove it when we bought it and it ran great. It hasnt been started in over 3 years though. There is an extra aluminum intake manifoldin the trunk along with some extra belts and things. The body is in fairly good condition. There is some cancer on the passenger side lower quarter panel and door. There is a small dent on the drivers side quarter panel. It has chrome front and rear bumpers that are in real good shape. The rest of the car is straight. The interior could use a little sprucing up. The headliner is coming down in a few spots. The lower part of the back seat is in good shape, and the upper part will need some upholstering at the very top of the seat. The front seat is a split bench and will need to be re-upholstered. The carpet is that short, knappy material and is in good condition. The dash is good and has a dashmat on it. The door panels are in really good shape. The radio is missing, but the dash where it goes is intact and not cracked or broken. All four of the original hubcaps are with it. There is also, what looks to me new trunk liner material, still in the wrapper, in the trunk also. The headlights and taillights are good as is all the glass. The car has 91k on the odometer, and judging from the condition of the pedals, I would say that is accurate. This car was a real cruiser in its day and could be again with not too much work. Please feel free to email if you have any questions. I do reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is listed locally also. Thanks for looking.
