2004 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning 2004 LIGHTNING, With only 32K MILES!!! WELL KEPT FLORIDA TRUCK. VERY FAST! Will pass everything except a gas station! 5.4 LITER 380HP SUPERCHARGED V8, POWER DRIVER SEAT, 6 DISC CD, Plastic BEDLINER, TOW PKG, TONNEAU COVER, 2 Keys with remotes, TINTED GLASS (rear ony), SLIDING REAR WINDOW, ADULT OWNED. Modifying a vehicle often improves performance at the expense of reliability. I prefer to turn the key and drive my toys rather than turn wrenches on the weekend. The truck was recently serviced at Midway Ford in Miami. See links below. Dealer service tech suggests that coolant appears to be good but its almost time to be changed. No other service is necessary. The truck was purchased from a collector who had a car dealers license. I was told that the last owner was a dentist. I drove this truck 3 days a week for the past 4 years. Known problems: Cup holder slides out under strong accereration. Shallow scratch above passenger side rear tire. (can be buffed out). At least one rim is loosing its plating (ford quality issue). Driver door handle fake plating is starting to peal off. Drivers seat has normal wear that is common on these trucks. There are some scratches under the front air dam but no one can see it. (Not worth fixing unless you are going to park the truck in a museum with a glass floor.) Vibrations: Its not an S550 so don't expect it to ride like a German sedan. I do get some vibrations above 80MPH. At 83MPH there is a resonance (not strong enough for me to investigate) but it dissapears at 85MPH. Tires may need to be high speed balanced. Please note that most 3rd party lenders will not finance a vehile that is more than 7 years old unless they are in the collector car finance business. I strongly advise you to pay with cash or wire transfer because checks take time to verify and clear. In some cases it can take up to 30 days to verify a check so if you are in a hurry pay by cash or wire transfer. If you want to walk away with the title and the keys the same day pay then pay with cash or wire transfer. It’s that simple!!! I am not taking any chances. There are too many fraudsters out there.
