This is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird at auction. This is part of an estate sale and is one of the last vehicles to be auctioned by the estate, and has been up at auction before. The estate has moved to sell this car and has removed any reserve price for this second auction. The vehicle was found among many other auctioned items on a farm in North Central Florida. It has been stored indoors, and it appears to be in mostly original condition. Paint on body is midnight-blue and has been noted as a re-paint from original black. The vehicle comes with original black-painted removable hard-top (pictured), as well as soft-top.Red interior is original as per engine plate number specs. Original head covers (not pictured), as well as other parts have been located and will be shipped with vehicle upon purchase. Hood, trunk cover, bumpers, side panels, Interior, etc., all appear to be in good shape. Some cosmetic dings noted on rear/ drivers end of top taillight fin, and near drivers side air vent.The estate has decided to auction this vehicle in "as is" condition without attempting to mechanically work with or alter anything in any way on the car other than the way it was found in the barn. Vehicle has been noted by simple mechanical inspection as having excellent compression, as it should also be noted that vehicle has not been run in approximately two and a half years. Engine size appears to be 312. Identification plate on Engine wall reads as follows: 4DA A XH 20 F31 and can be used to research original specifications on this vehicle. PayPal deposit is limited to $250.00 (Two-Hundred Fifty dollars), and the estate has requested that the remaining balance beyond the initial PayPal deposit be made through direct wire transfer or certified/ cashier's check. This is primarily for security purposes and in avoidance of high PayPal fees. This vehicle has an absolutely clean and clear Florida title, and an estate bill of sale will also be included in purchase closing paperwork.
