2003 R1150RT with 24,990 “Senior” miles. Aesthetically near perfect and mechanically flawless. Professionally maintained with all records. BMW synthetic engine and gear oils used exclusively since new. Never dropped and never down. Not a scratch, scrape, dent, or bruise anywhere. All components and equipment function as new. All the great 1150RT factory standard equipment including electrically adjustable windshield, high/low heated grips, fog lamps, ABS-II linked brakes, and System side cases. In addition, the machine comes with a BMW AM/FM/cassette radio with dash display and grip controls, cylinder guards, Comfort Seat, Euro lighting controls, and cam chain tensioner upgrade. Aftermarket equipment includes PIAA 1100X driving lamps, Aeroflow touring windshield (plus the stock windshield with removable Laminar Lip), barbacks, sidestand fat-foot, front Run-N-Lites, Kissan brake light modulator, stainless fairing fasteners, K&N air filter, Cee Bailey headlight protector, Wunderlich tank pad, carbon fiber top clamp pad, front and rear fender extenders, on-board Gerbings Heat-Troller, and Kathy’s sidecase liners. All major services have been timely performed and professionally done and these records go with the bike. Engine oil/filter changes performed at least every 2,500 miles and transmission/rear drive oil services performed annually. The last major service (including flushing the F/R wheel circuits and the clutch fluid) was on 10/3/11 at 23,444 miles. Last oil/filter and transmission/rear drive service was at 23,460 miles. Metzeler Z6 Interact tires installed 8/09 at 20,144 miles and Westco battery re-newed 8/10. You may see other nice R1150RTs for sale but you'd be hard pressed to find another that has been maintained as well as this one. It doesn't need a thing and you won't need to spend another dime on it for quite awhile. Ride it anywhere with confidence right now. Everything is already done. I hope the pictures and above narrative convey that this is a near flawless and perfectly maintained RT. I’ve been riding BMW almost exclusively for more than forty years and I am particular about how my bikes are kept and maintained. I bought this bike from the original owner six years ago and he was as straight and honest a guy as you could ever hope to meet. In the interest of full disclosure and “no surprises”, I will say that he installed a set of Air Wings on the bike but removed them before I purchased it. There are two small holes near the knee pads in the back edge of the fairing on each side that have been neatly plugged. I’ve shown them in one of the pictures. They are barely noticeable. This bike has been fully detailed at least once every year; it has been washed as soon as possible after every ride it has been on in rain; and all bugs have been immediately removed after every (as in EVERY) single ride. This motorcycle has done Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway end-to-end, cruised down the Westside Drive in Manhattan, ridden the Coast Highway from Portland to San Francisco, and even carried me across Nevada and into Utah on U.S. Rt. 50, the “Loneliest Road in America”. I have no doubt whatsoever that she could do it all again next week without so much as a hiccup. Any shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. However, I would be glad to help make shipping arrangements as well as assist the shipper in safely loading the bike. If the buyer does a fly n’ride, I will pick him/her up at the Atlanta Airport.
