I am selling my 1985 Jeep CJ 7 Renagade which has a 4” lift. The jeep is part of an unfinished restoration that I started over a year ago. The frame was stripped, and two shackle caps were welded to the rear. Frame was treated inside and out with Por 15 brand products. New everything on the frame, tank, bushings, suspension parts, u joints, stainless steel lines, new rubber hoses, brakes all new, including hardware and pads/shoes, rotors, drums, bearing, seals, leaf springs, u bolts. The brakes were converted to power brakes(all new master and booster). Rear axles updated to one piece units. 6 Degree wedges for pinion alignment. New shocks, bump stops and emergency brake set up. The transmission (T-176, 4 speed) was taken apart and all new seals were added including a shifter tightening kit. The transfer case (Dana 300) was also taken apart and all seals added. No wear on the gears in both units. New 3 row radiator and power steering pump along with all the hoses. New clutch, flywheel turned, bushing and attaching bolts. 2 inch drop kit for the transfer case pan. 2nd to last rear tub mounts were relocated to mount the 1989 Sahara Jeep tub. New bumpers. Engine is a 258 4.2 L: new oil pump, timing chain, oil seals, rear main seal, water pump, starter, alternator, thermostat, New pan(Bed lined and painted red), valve cover gasket, carb gaskets, fuel pump, all sensors, including oxygen sensor, new steel fuel line and filter. Engine runs but has a leaking freeze plug at this time. New exhaust cat back. Rebuilt all the under dash heating plenums, new heater core. New ignition switch, detailed steering wheel and shafts. Tub has 3 layers of undercoating, including both sides of the fire wall. Gas filler relocated to passenger side, roll over valve and shut off valve also done, CJ tailgate hinge mounting points were put in the CJ location along with the matching defroster openings of a CJ. I have a set of full steel doors, a pair of half doors and a tan hard top, all in great shape. Good dash(Not installed yet awaiting prep work, I have an older one on for now. (Extra hood, decent full doors and YJ tailgate available). I have original CJ seats with new covers on the front ones. Right now I have 33 inch tires on 15 inch rims(tires have some dry rot) and I also have a spare set of 32 inch on 15 rims, all rims are aluminum. I have a Microsoft spread sheet of all the parts including price, vendor, vendors part numbers and purchase dates totaling $7000.00. Lots of labor has gone into this “Done right” Jeep. I also bought 2 new fenders which were also treated with several coats of bedliner. I have a total of 1800 pics of the work done to prove the workmanship and all will go to the new owner along with the spreadsheet and receipts. This is a work in process so I am still continuing to assemble it. The reserve has been set with the intent to sell and cover some labor. Feel free to call me with any questions. Texting works too.
