1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille This All Original 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is an original owner car that has been garaged kept its whole life and it shows. This Coupe DeVille is equipped with the following. Temperature gauge, fuel gauge, factory clock that works. It also comes equipped with atomic eye, tilt telescope steering wheel, wonder bar AM radio that works, power brakes, power windows, remote mirror, power seats and power antenna, and power steering which works great and has no leaks. The general body condition and alignment is great. All the chrome and stainless trim is also in great condition for being original. This Cadillac is in super condition. I also have the original owner’s manuals and protect-o-plate. Interior The interior in this Cadillac is all original and is in outstanding condition the inside of this car will blow your mind how nice it is. The original red leather front and back seats are in outstanding condition and show very little wear they are super impressive. The original head liner and visors is also in outstanding condition. The front and rear door panels are all in super condition. The carpet is showing some wear on the driver’s side and is in ok condition the rest of the carpet is in good condition. This Cadillac also has the original rug mats that will come with the car. The dash pad is also original to the car and it is also in super condition with no cracks or blemishes. All interior trim and bright work and dash bezel area is in excellent condition. Exterior & Paint THE BODY- The body on this Cadillac is in outstanding condition and this is a super dry super clean straight body. The factory floor pans are in outstanding condition and are super solid with no rust at all they have never been welded on or patched or tampered with. The original tunnel and fire wall is also in outstanding. Both quarter panels are original to the car and are in great condition as well. The quarters have not been beat on or welded on or tampered with. Both the doors are rust free and are also in outstanding condition and do not show any sings of ever being tampered with. Both the front fenders are original to the car and are in outstanding condition and are rust free and also show no sings of being tampered with. The original inner and outer rocker panels are outstanding and are not rusted out or full of body filler. The roof is also in outstanding condition and the back window does have sum minor rust staining in both corners but no bubbles. The windshield pillars and upper windshield area both out side and inside are rust free and is in excellent condition. The hood is in good condition and is original to the car. This Cadillac has all its original GM panels and this Cadillac is free of body fillers and or rust patches. The trunk pan is also original to this car and it will blow your mind how nice it is with no pitting or patches and it still has the original splatter paint it looks like new. Overall the body is in super condition with only two small door dings and two small dents down low near the rear of the car. The original Aspen white paint on this car is in over all super condition for being original but does have a few minor rock chips and small nick. The paint on this car is impressive over all and I would not have this car repainted at this point it is just way to clean for its age and it ready to show. Glass, Felts & Rubbers The windshield is in good condition with no pitting and a minor rock chip. The right and left door glass, the right and left quarter glass, and the back glass are all in good condition with no scratches or pitting. The original felts and rubber thought the car is all in super condition you will not need to replace them at this point. Lights & Electrical The original T3 headlights are a four lamp sealed beam system which is in good operational condition. They feature the unique automatic dim system. The corner lamps which are located in the side of the front bumper are in excellent condition with no cracks or weathering. The rear tail lamps are also in excellent condition with no weathering or cracks. All the original electrical in this car is in good working order including all the outside lights, all the interior lights, the power antenna, the radio, the dash interments, power windows, heater blower and controls, ECT. Chrome There is an extensive amount of chrome inclusive of front bumper, windshield moldings, door glass moldings, belt moldings, mirrors, door handles, back glass molding, body side moldings, vent cowl, wheel opening moldings and rear bumper which are all in great condition for being original with no corrosion. Tires & Rims & The tires are P235/75R15 wide white walls and they are good condition with good tread depth. These tires are mounted to factory steel rims with full wheel covers which are all in good condition. Engine & Trans The vehicle is equipped with the original Cadillac engine 429 cubic V8 coupled to a stock General Motor's cast iron 3 - speed automatic transmission. The motor in this Cadillac runs great and is super dependable this car does not smoke or leak and is all original under the hood. The transmission is the same it is in good working order and it also does not leak and shifts as factory intended. The exhaust system is in good condition and this car sounds great. There are no issues with the drivability of this Cadillac the car starts right up every time and runs great it truly is a joy to drive. The front suspension is nice and tight and the brakes work great. The ac clutch is not working but the ac is still charged. The Overall This1965 Cadillac was bought new at Hobbie Chevrolet / Cadillac in northern California by the original owners and this car spent its life in Paradise California where it was used as the special occasion car. The original owners kept this car in great condition and it was always garaged kept. This car came with the original owner’s manuals and protect-o-plate and still has the original California black plates and the Hobbie license plate rings. The original keys look like new and yes all the locks work. Overall this is a super clean original survivor car that is a blast to driving and is also super dependable.
