I have a 1971 toyota celica that i purchased about four years ago. The car was in very good condition when I bought it. I tagged it and drove it. The car ran very good, and was also very fun to drive. I backed it into a pole and damaged the bumper and right rear. I parked it and it has sat for the past three years. On 12-15-2011 I drained the fuel and added new fuel and it fired right up. the motor is very tight and strong. As far as I know the car only needs a few things: A new muffler exhaust pipe. The rubber exhaust isolater have come apart and need to be replaced. It is currently being held by metal wire. The body of the car has a little rust, but nothing that couldn t be repaired fairly easy. The bumper will probably need to be replaced. I have the original, but it has a nice little dent in it. Everything in the car works, even the cigeret lighter. The car does have air condition system, but Im not sure if it is working. It may just need a charge. I bought this car in hopes of fixing it up, but I have not had any time to do so. This would be an awsome project car for a celica fan. this was the very first year of the celica, very rare car to find. I just dont have the time to deal with it and would like to pass it on to someone that does.
