Vehicle Detail
Due to a recent acquisition we are selling our rare 1951 Dodge Pilothouse 5 window B3C, which has been in our collection for the last 6 years. This has been one of the most reliable and fun vehicles that we have owned. On the sides of the bed are vinyl lettering that we have used to advertise our local real estate business. It can be removed easily with a credit card when desired (Same paint color underneath). We've had many classic vehicles, however, this is the most comfortable pickup we have ever owned. A real pleasure to drive. Originaly from the high desert of Idaho, the Pilothouse has been an Arizona native for many years. Absolutely no rust! It has been restored to original specifications. Complete engine rebuild and balanced by an aircraft mechanic. Runs absolutely fantastic! Front suspension was rebuilt and performs just like it should. Fenton dual exhaust manifold, the front 3 and the rear 3 cylinders then join into a single exhaust. Rare deluxe steering wheel. Still sporting the six volt ignition. We have driven this Pilothouse for years regularly with confidence and reliability. All gauges work well. New brakes and Coker w/w tires. Deluxe vintage hubcaps. 4 speed manual transmission. Nice rear end gear ratio for comfortable road driving. It has dual Appleton Lorraine 32 spotlights. The passenger side was recently installed, not shown in the photo's. Chrome in excellent shape. Rare radio option is not working, however can be repaired. Front fog running lights, which are period correct. The Pilothouse was painted six years ago in patriot blue, with wimbleton white accents. It has a great shine and has been very well kept, in a climate controlled environment. New upholsered leather seat. Glass, gaskets and chrome are very good. Clear Arizona title. This is the one! The right to end auction is reserved, due to the vehicle being sold locally as well. Have a question? Call Al at 480-734-4545 MST. We take pride in our 100% feedback.
