Please Read this Descriptions carefully: We purchased this Truck from an insurance company This is what happened This truck was sold with a salvage title for Flood damage. We had the truck checked out. It never had any water in the cab but the intercooler had water in it but none in the engine. So the mechanic cleared the intercooler and the truck started and ran great. We ran the truck around for several hundred miles with no problems. Then we stopped to eat at a restaurant and when we got back in the truck it wouldn't start. Long story short we took the truck to the dealer and they said an o ring was out of the high pressure oil system. So, we had them put in the upgraded connections and they also changed an injector they said was bad. We got the truck back and noticed it started to smoke a little on start-up, we called the dealer and they said well just run it around and see what happens. Well after 100 miles or so, it would smoke after cold start-up for about 2 miles then run fine, so we took it back in. They thought it might be compression on the same cylinder that they changed the injector. We ran it around for another 400-500 miles and the problem steadily got worse. We took it in to the dealer again and they refused to change the injector but then one of their mechanics backed a van that they were working on, out of the bay, into the front right corner of the truck. So to Summarize: It runs normal under load but misses on Cylinder 7 at an idle or no load. It smokes when not under load (I think the new injector maybe leaking) The truck does not use any oil or have any blow-by. The bumper and fender will need replaced and the hood corner is bent down slightly (no other damage) It was sold as a flood vehicle but never had water on the inside of the truck. Other than the dents in the front (caused by the Dealership) and the miss on Cylinder 7, the truck is nearly flawless. The truck can be driven any distance. Bid with confidence, this is a nice truck.
