CONDITION: EXCELLENT Running / Handling Mostly Stock Original Car FEATURES: New suspension components (bushings, wheels), New steering boots, Recent brake system rebuild, Simpson 3point harness, 5spd transmission (orig 4spd goes with car), Later model diff (orig goes with car), new half shaft u-joints, new rear carpet, recent timing chain replacement, Red optima battery, MSD ignition / coil, Taylor wires, stainless front and rear flexible brake lines, new clutch slave cyl, new fuel injectors, new radiator, new exhaust resonator, new shifter knob, dash cover, several other new parts will go with car, have all receipts for parts and work done, most parts purchased from Motorsport Auto, dealer installed A/C (haven't tried it recently, but it did work before I parked it several years ago) HISTORY: Car originally owned by doctor in SC. Have original service manual with service dates listed. Original owner parked car for approximately 15yrs. He had the car repainted red (original color as seen in engine compartment was brown). Original owner died and brother had thoughts of restoring but decided not to, pushed car out of storage and put for sale sign in window. A friend of mine purchased car and got car back to drivable condition. My friend had the car for less than a year and I purchased the car. I drove it for several years and updated / replaced parts to improve handling mostly and small functional items / cosmetics (door regs, knobs / carpet, etc.) The timing chain started going and I parked the car for several years. I recently pulled the car out of storage, replaced the timing chain and got the car back to where it was before timing chain issue. Still drives and handles great. Some point in the past, I believe the original owner was in a minor accident (bumpers gone b4 I bought car). There has been no work done to the body or sub-frame of this car. It is original except for the few items listed and is an excellent car to keep as is or to restore. Still has the original radio / speakers, and instrumentation. This car has been adult owned and driven and will make someone a great second, fun vehicle.SHIPPING AND PAYMENT: Will ship car anywhere in the 48 contiguous states after payment received (you pick / pay carrier, I will make car available for carrier to load), or come by and test drive, verify car is exactly what I say it is, pay via bank draft, cashiers check or cash and drive home.MISC: As shown in the photos, there are a few minor surface issues and only one bad spot on the car. The passenger side door jamb has a spot the size of a quarter that has rusted through. In the hatch area, the two gray corners, there were a few spots were the paint had started to bubble up that were cleaned and treated with POR-15. Not shown is the same in the jamb on the drivers side. In this area the paint bubbled up and created pin holes. This area was cleaned and repaired with POR-15 products. The floor pans and area around the battery is solid and has never been repaired. There has not been any body or sub-frame repair, other than the minor surface work that has been mentioned, on this car. This is a solid car and you will not be disappointed with the soundness of this car. If you inspect the car and are not completely satisfied that it has been represented accurately and you're not happy with the vehicle, your deposit, minus listing fees will be returned.
