1978 Jeep CJ-5. Full frame-on restoration rust-free driver's car, ready for the trails or the road. The Jeep is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or scratches. The shell was completely done when we bought the vehicle and then we replaced the motor (09/11). The motor is the inline 6 (4.2L) completely rebuilt by Jasper Motor's, which comes with a three year warrantee, and has around 500 miles on it. The transmission is the original three speed manual on the floor. The tub (firewall back) is all aluminum; it is light weight, strong, clean, rust proof, and worth over $7k. The finish is done in a Desert Kahki, we have the excess paint if there is ever a paint issue, with black accent pieces. All the electical and mechanical pieces on the car work ie. lights, heater, stereo, dash instruments, etc. The car comes with two stereo's one is the original AM/FM and the other is a AM/FM and CD which is currently in the vehicle. We have the original owner's manual and the Jeep comes with a soft-top and half doors and also a Bikini top (soft) for a faster way to get out of the elements. We originally purchased the Jeep for a fun spring/summer vehicle, it was perfect for running around town and enjoying the sun. We are selling it to fund other projects.
