Vehicle Detail
Nice Cloud,,, Turn key and drive anywhere now. Runs, drives, shifts, steers and stops beautiful. This car was was restored to very nice driver condition, back around 10 years ago. I purchased the car off e-bay around 4-5 years ago, through a well established classic car broker in Indianapolis. Correctly done to RR specs headliner, carpets, paint, chrome bumpers, chrome light rims, all new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, rebuilt master cylinders, bone dry new servo, Paint is done in single stage enamel, rare sunroof that works perfect,,, PLEASE, do not respond to this add unless you are a VERY, VERY SERIOUS potential buyer. So many Rolls Royce fanatics want to ask questions to flex their knowledge muscles, on adds such as mine, with no intentions of buying the car what so ever. PLEASE, PLEASE no dreamers. No questions for curiosity. I want to speak with principals only. If the man of the house has the last word on this decision,,, I want to speak and or answer questions from the man only. No wives, no friends, no secretaries. I just had a woman from Detroit waste my time, having me thinking she had the decision ability, when it was really her husband who is a DREAMER. Said we'll buy it, then backed out, then said we want it again, then backed out again. 2-3 weeks of e-mails, phone conversations, preparing for shipping up in smoke for a dreamer.,,, If you are a person who is scared to death over, if something goes wrong wIth the car, what will I have to pay to fix it,,,, THIS IS THE WRONG CAR FOR YOU. Buying 53 year old Rolls Royce's, is a game NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. If you want one of these models that has no issues what so ever, that make it a less than perfect car,,, Then pick up a copy of that famous magazine that is all about (The Affluent Lifestyle) and get ready to give $75,000.00 to one of the exotic car dealers. ,,,, I am a current member in good standing of the Rolls Royce Owners Club. I am not a dealer of cars in any way. I am a collector that sells a car every couple years, only to replace it with another special car. I am looking at Bentley Turbo Rs now. If you are a dealer, please do not respond to this. This price is very fair for the person who wants to own this car,,, but a dealer will not pay this price. If a dealer feels he can get $30,000.00 for a car like this, he wants it for $18,000.00 ,,,,,, sorry, not giving it away. Look for more info and pictures coming up this week. Past cars sold on e-bay in the past 10 years,,,, 1958 Bentley S-1,,,, 1949 Bentley MK-6 Freestone + Webb,,,, 1959 Rolls SC-1 ,,,,, <<<< I have no service records in writing at all. I was promised service records from the owner (before purchase). After many phone calls, I could not get them and gave up. <<<<< If this auction is not successful in finding a new home for this car,,,, I will absolutely NOT be lowering the price and relisting. ,,,, I will simply be selling a different car instead. I am not selling this for the need of money, but for the room in my garage for a different toy. This is a one shot deal. If I relist this, it will be in 2 years or so, for $28,500.00 Starting Price. On Dec-09-11 at 20:29:39 PST, seller added the following information: This car comes with a cover,, Body panels are rust free,, solid frame and floors. I may have a new oil filter. I do have the aluminum splash pan for at least one side of the engine compartment. Maybe both sides. Car does not have the factory jack,,, so I will supply a modern hydraulic jack that you just put under the same jacking point,,, Works great. ,,,,, I do have a small collection of Rolls Royce memorabilia that will be coming up on for auction on e-bay.On Dec-10-11 at 15:04:40 PST, seller added the following information: I hope whoever bids on this car will send me a e-mail through ebay to check if the car actually sold. I have experienced in the past where winners if the auction will have bazar requests, (after they win) the auction wich I would never be willing to comply to. Sometimes deals fall through. On guy wanted me to keep the car for 3 to 4 months because he was snowed in, in northern Oregon. ,,,,, Another wanted to come kick the tires, inspect the car, to see if he wanted it, (after he won the auction). That's not how it works.
