CAR IS PRETTY MUCH RESTORED AND HAS ONLY 90,000 ON THE DRIVETRAIN WOW! CHASSIS HAS 204XXX BUT THE MECHANICS ARE ALL AT 90,000 OR LESS BECAUSE EVERYTHING HAS BEEN REPLACED OR REBUILT ON THIS BMW. HAS THE DESIRABLE "SUPER ETA" INLINE 6-CYLINDER ENGINE AND HARD TO FIND 4-SPEED ZF-AUTOMATIC TRANS. CAR IS IN PRIMO CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT WITH ONLY A FEW MINOR IMPERFECTIONS. THIS CAR HAS BEEN BABIED ALL ITS LIFE WITH A LOT OF MONEY SPENT ON IT AND YOU CAN TELL. HAS HAD NEW TIRES, BRAKES, WIRING, SUSPENSION REBUILD, FUEL LINES, NEW BATTERY, REAR WINDOW REGULATORS, SWITCHES, TUNE UP AND MORE DONE TO IT IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. HAS ALL WORKING POWER OPTIONS INCLUDING WINDOWS, LOCKS, SUNROOF, SEATS, ICE COLD AC, AND A BRAND NEW CD PLAYER AND SPEAKERS PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED WITH A FUNCTIONING POWER ANTENNA. COMES IN ALPINE WHITE WITH SPECIAL ORDER RED/BLACK SPORT INTERIOR. THE AC SYSTEM WAS COMPLETELY REPLACED SEVERAL YEARS AGO AND BLOWS JUST AS ICE COLD AS A BRAND NEW CAR. UPDATE 10/20/2011: I have just recently done another tune-up on the old girl, rebuilt the throttle bpdy with new seals, had the dash recovered to a PERFECT FACTORY FINISH, the front has been re-done to fix the usual BMW "shake," new brake pads, had the AC system serviced. The odometer stopped a few months ago at 204xxx and I have driven the car approximately 2,000 miles since though do understand that the mechanical componets of this car have ONLY 90,000 miles on them if not less. This chassis is so tight it doesn't even rattle or squeek any more than new cars I have driven in. This is not an abused vehicle but rather a VERY WELL CARED for classic that will be running another 23 years from now and will make a very good investment in the years to come.
