Here for sale is a One Owner 1981 Chevy Monte Carlo. It has only 38,800 miles . Has a V6 , automatic transmission. I am listing for a friend , who works with my wife. It was driven off the lot , and led a pretty pampered life. Driven dailey for a couple of years , then just used as a pleasure vehicle . It has had a repaint at one point , (in the early 90's) and babied since. Body is straight , paint is shiney and looks great . The door bottoms and under side of the trunk are like new. Frame is rock solid . Never modified , still has the factory rally wheels, has new RWL tires. It is a smooth running ,clean , cool car . Not perfect ,it does have some bubbling of the paint on the header panel , but REALLY NICE !! If the economy was in better shape , she would not be selling this really nice older Monte ! On Dec-25-11 at 05:15:24 PST, seller added the following information: I had the grinch come and look at the car yesterday , as it IS for sale locally , he preceeded to mash down on the brake pedal and blew out the line going across the axle. He then said that he did not want the car because the brakes were messed up ! I spliced a piece into the line because of time and the cold . It stops OK , but has a low pedal. The brake will need bled properly . Just wanted to let everyone know about it , before the auction ended. MERRY CHRISTMAS , and keep on bidding , its not too far from the reserve !!
