This is a 1992 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel. This is a rare trade. We don't get these vehicles very often and don't know to much about them except that many consider them to be bullet proof. The 5 cylinder 2.5L turbo charged diesel engine runs but it does have a miss. We are not sure why. The transmission shifts but some times there is a hard shift from second to third gear. Again, not sure why. The suspension and steering seem fine. The car starts right up. The exterior is dark blue. It looks like it had been repainted at some point. There are a few scratches as one might expect with 200,000 miles. The major ding is on the front left fender and hood (see pic). No cracks or chips on the windshield. The tires have about 15% tread. The lights and lenses have no cracks. The interior is MB Tex. The color is gray. The seats are free of holes, rips or cracks but like the carpet, could use a good cleaning, The power windows, locks, sunroof, etc. work as designed. The climate control works. There is an after market sound system. This pre-owned vehicle is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. It is driveable, however with the engine miss, we would recommend that the vehicle be towed or trailered. We charge, on ALL internet sales, a $200 internet fee which covers document, clerical, airport transportation and all other auction related expenses. This fee is waived if purchased on out lot for a BUY IT NOW price of $2995. We offer a, with proof of insurance, a 60 day temporary tag for $50.
